…or what I didn’t post
Short menus for the last two weeks as we were eating everything possible in Madrid the weekend before last. It is so terrible to have friends in wonderful places 🙂 Said no one ever. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see those lovely friends while in Madrid, but we did use their vacant apartment (Thanks guys!) and meet up with a Baltimore friend traveling for a wedding.
I wanted to catch up on the weekly menus I skipped. I still made menus. I still cooked. I just didn’t post any of my kitchen adventures. I do have pictures of some of these dishes and will be posting them, but for many
I was just too lazy I don’t.
A few I know I will be putting up are:
– lemon thyme mustard roasted vegetables
– Sweet potato, roasted red pepper, and lentil soup
– Green and White Chili
If there is anything on this list you are really interested in let me know. It will give me reason to get my ass in gear and put the post together :). Motivation in the form of a interested chef is always my favorite!

Tues – Roasted pepper, sweet potato and lentil soup and spinach salad
Wed – Pork and Cabbage Stir fry with soba noodles
Thur – Salad with grilled chicken thighs and peaches
Fri – Out with FriendsREWRITE due to Sickness and unwillingness to cook things!!
Wed – frozen pizza and big salad
Thurs – Pasta with garlic, parm, butter and arugula. Salad
Fri – Pork tenderloin w/mushrooms in red wine reduction and sauteed zucchini
29.05.15 – 4.6.15
Fri – Burgers, Sweet potatoes and zucchini on the grill.
Sat – Leftover from last night and Salad
Sun – Roasted Chicken with cabbage, mushrooms, carrot, onions, zucchini
Mon – Open Face Blue Cheese Sandwich (with same veggies as above–from Moosewood) with walnuts and Green salad.
Tues – Leftover Chicken and green beans curry over brown rice
Wed – Tuna patties over large green salad
Thurs – Spain —eat all the TAPAS!
22.05.15 – 28.05.15
Fri – sticky chicken bites, quinoa, and sauteed broccoli and mushrooms
Sat – Dinner @ Friends House
Sun – Roast: Pork chops, cauliflower, potato, carrots, asparagus, and mushrooms with lemon thyme mustard glaze
Mon – Guests – Turkey and veggie tacos, refried beans, Spanish rice
Tues – Asian Noodle salad (leftover from Saturday). Add Tofu
Wed – White and Green Chili with salad
Thurs – PS dinner – Cauliflower crust pizza
Sat: Sausage, penne, with cherry tomatoes and parmesan with salad
Sun: Roast Turkey Breast with kohlrabi, carrots, onions and broccoli and green salad
Mon: Wraps with marinated beef, onions, peppers, lettuce. Black beans and rice and cucumber yogurt salad
Tues: Lemon garlic chicken thighs over bulgur with runner beans and a green salad.
Wed: Asparagus, mushroom and white bean skillet. Cottage cheese salad.
Thurs: Grilled Fish Tacos with slaw and chili beans.
Fri – Cafe Einstein
Sat – Fish Salad
Sun – Schnitzel w/spaetzle Mushroom spinach sauce and salad
Mon – Roast Chicken, cabbage, carrots, (olive tapenade), broccoli, cous cous, and green salad
Tues – Spicy Tofu Noodles and sesame cucumber salad
Wed – Chicken Tortilla Soup (leftover chicken from Monday)
Thurs – Dinner Salad with leftovers?
Fri – PS and Cindy gone
Fri – Blackened Fish salad
Sat – Creamy Cauliflower Soup and mango chutney and cheddar grilled cheese
Sun – Roast Pork Loin with red cabbage, carrots, parsnips, sweet potato and salad
Mon – Veggie Patties on greens with sweet potatoes
Tues – With Leftover pork roast – Parsnip apple stuffing
Wed – Vegetarian Dish TBD
Thurs – Bruschetta chicken, spargle (white asparagus!) and salad
