This Weeks Menu and link
I was struggling to make the menu this week and I am not sure why. Some weeks the meals and ideas seem to fall right into place and other weeks I can spend and hour or two (sometimes more, if I am honest) looking up ideas, debating the list and changing my mind.Friday and Monday are holidays so all the stores were closed those days as well as Sunday. PS and I spent a lot of time shopping downtown on Saturday. We went to way more stores than we normally would, but I wanted to go to the Indian and the Chinese markets. Then we had to go to a cheap store (Lidl this week, but sometimes Aldi), and regular grocery.
It sounds like a lot. It was. Especially since we are carrying everything in a backpack on the train. Notice I say ‘we’ there. By ‘we’ I mean PS. By the end I also had a number of bags so it wasn’t as if I was just making him a pack mule. I just know his bag was heavier with the bottles of gin, bourbon, and wine, and 2 kg of apples and 2 kg of rice…what it was a stock up trip.
